1. Getting sunlight increases the production of the feel-good
hormone serotonin in the body, so take at least 15 minutes
sunlight daily.

2. A hormone named melatonin helps slow the growth of cancer but
even brief exposure to light at night may suppress the
production of melatonin. So it would be better if you used red
bulb at night.

3. Transfat like saturated fat increase the level of ‘bad’ or
LDL (low density lipoprotein) cholesterol and lower the level of
‘good’ or HDL cholesterol. So avoid too much pastry, butter,
etc.

4. Soft drinks can raise blood pressure, so drink water instead.

5. If you are lactose-intolerant that is if you feel pain in
stomach after having milk, instead of milk have curd, cheese,
spinach to get calcium.

6. Cook in cast-iron pans. It can double the iron content of
scrambled eggs for ex. which helps the delivery of oxygen to

7. Mild to moderate burns heal faster, if you spread coconut oil
over them.

8. Never forget to brush your teeth after having dinner too,
otherwise all the food particles stuck in the teeth will help
bacteria grow and teeth may get infected.

9. If you suffer from dry skin on your face or from acme or
pimples, rub glycerin over your face. Glycerin is very effective
in warding germs off your face.
For better results, mix lime in glycerin. For this, take 100g
bottle filled with glycerin. Then take a lime and cut it into
two pieces, squeeze both pieces so that lime juice fell inside
100g bottle of glycerin. Now close the bottle and shake well.
After bathing or after washing your face in the morning, take
about 1 gram of this mixture on one of your palms. Then rub this
mixture over your face with both hands for about a minute.
Similarly wash your face daily half or one hour before you go to bed
at night. Then rub glycerin over your face a la mentioned above.
Let the glycerin
remain over your face overnight. In the morning, wash your face.
Then apply the mixture again.
While washing your face, rub the skin with much soapsuds for
about a minute instead of some seconds.

10. If you feel disturbance in your sleep or study due to noise
of loud speaker, etc, use the following simple technique.
Take some mustard oil in a bowl. Now take a wad of cotton wool
and soak it into that mustard oil, then take that wad of cotton
wool out of the mustard oil and squeeze it 3 to 5 times so that
some mustard oil fell back into that bowl. In this way, that wad
of cotton wool will get somewhat harder. Now put that wad inside
your right ear. Repeat the process with new wad of cotton wool
and put it into your left ear.
If noise is louder, then lie on your left side and dip middle or
index finger in the bowl of mustard oil so that some drops of
mustard oil will be in that finger. Now put that finger inside
your right ear so that some mustard oil got inside your right
ear. Repeat this process 2 to 3 times and keep lying in that
position unless mustard oil is absorbed by the right ear and you
will feel numbness in your right ear. Now put wad of cotton
wool, already made somewhat harder due to soaking in mustard oil
and squeezing, inside your right ear. Now lie on you right side
and repeat this entire process for the left ear. After 3 to 7
days, throw away those cotton swabs and use new ones.
Disturbance in your sleep as well as study due to noise will be
out of your life forever.
Also note, mustard oil is good for ears and it helps remove
earwax. So even if you don't feel disturbance in your sleep or
study, put some mustard oil in your both ears at least once in a
fortnight.
